The Before I Die Project and A Good Way to Spend Six Minutes

Last year, a friend and I went to New York and got off the R at the wrong place. We stumbled on the Before I Die Project, a project that creates constructive places in neglected spaces. Think of a giant, city block-sized chalkboard that invites passersby to scrawl out dreams they wish to achieve.

TED talks recently released this short video from the creator of the Before I Die project, Candy Chang. It's not a bad way to spend  six minutes on a sleepy Saturday.

"Two of the most important things we have is time and our relationships with other people. In our age of increasing distractions, it's more important than ever to find ways to maintain perspective and remember life is brief and tender." Candy Chang

Happy weekend, friends.

Lor,
Amen. Don't I know it. I always go to TED talks when I need a little inspiration, and I'm so glad I did today because I never saw Candy Chang speak, and I feel in love with this project last year. Super cool.

Love this, Amy. I love home and quiet and aloneness. But God sends me reminders here and there of just how important relationships are.
