Your Mama, My Mama {A Bloggy Tribute}

Photobucket

Wheet-woo! That's my mom, and no, she wasn't jumping a train to get away from her naughty, swimsuit stealing daughter. This happens to be a picture from her modeling days, one of the many unique facts about my mom.

When I think of the ultimate givers, I think of mothers. They poured love into us long ago, and because of them, we understand more about pouring love into our own.

In celebration of Mother's Day, your mom (grandma, aunt, family friend, or other motherly figure), and just to get to know each other better, I’d love for you to participate in Your Mama, My Mama. Here’s how it works:

*Send me (asullivan12@frontier.com) a photo of you and your mom or just your mom by Friday, May 6th. Don’t worry about sizing. I’ll resize to fit my place.

*Write a seven-word story about your mom. Yes, seven words. No more, no less. Need some ideas? Check out the popular six word stories. Your seven words can be silly, serious, or somewhere in between.

*Include your full name and link back to your place.

*Return here next Sunday and Monday to view pics and read.

Hope you join me in highlighting the special women in our lives!

Yeah, can you see me clapping my hands? Was hoping you would.

PS Kendal, Seven words seems like so little to me, but I feel as if you could tell three stories in just seven words!

you look so much like your mom! You are a beauty! This sounds like fun Amy, you always have such good ideas!

Thanks Nikki!

Marlece,
Aww, thanks. That's funny. No one ever says I look like my mom, but then again, no one says I look like my Dad either.

Alas, I don't have pictures of my mom. She lives over 3,000 miles away from me. But I keep her close to my heart.

What a great idea! I hope to participate! I love the picture of your mom. :)

I just read your last couple of posts, and I clearly need to come back and read about all your happenings in the last two years--birthing a baby on the side of the road? Since my last baby was born right after we checked in at the hospital, that's my fear!

Thank you for your prayers and encouragement, and if you don't mind, keep them coming! ;) I'll keep praying for you.
